Uncle Walter was such a lovely man; a "gentleman" in every sense of the word but what is harder to communicate is what great fun he was. He was a big part of our youth and he was also the best to jive with! He was so quick on the dancefloor. His and Auntie Maureen's New Year Eve parties were legendary. He was a very kind man who loved his family more than anything. We are so sad we can't be with you on Friday but we will be watching a video of him and us all at 1 of his parties and will raise a glass. He will live on in his family and will never be forgotten by us. John, Diane, Robert & Stuart Milligan

This is a message to my father Walter I am the eldest child of three Tony we spoke most weeks even when I moved away from home, This is very difficult to capture in words how much i will miss you, I remember my dad taking me to watch mine and his favourite football team Coventry city and going to the old working men’s clubs at the weekends also our many holidays around the uk and especially his home town of Londonderry, he was extremely loyal and always there for me when I needed him, what I learned from my father was to always have a sense of humour and stay positive whatever the circumstances, I will especially remember him for how much he look forward to seeing his grandchildren Lauren and Toni-mae and the stories he used to tell them of his childhood and selfies with Toni-mae in loving memory Tony
